The Brangeina Twins Are Here!

If you're looking for pictures of the twins in the new issue of People, go here. [Sorry guys I had to remove them. You can find crappier scans from Hello! here.]

Hooray! The Brangelina twins arrived in Nice, France--by Cesarean section-- on Saturday! Do you care? Assuming you do, Angelina Jolie, 33, had a boy and a girl; and named them Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, respectively. They weighed 5 pounds-a-piece. [People] I guess "little bitty babies ARE the way to go."

Okay, okay, Knox and Viv aren't all that light by twin standards. According to a report, done by researchers at the University of Pennsylvania in 2002, the average birth weight for twins is 5 pounds, 10 ounces. "And, almost half of twins are low birth weight by the definition of low birth weight (below 5 pounds, 8 ounces)"; as is the case for the Jolie-Pitt babies.

P.S. In case you don't believe the twins actually arrived (since the media put you through the wringer --full of false alarms), here's Nice Mayor Christian Estrosi holding their birth certificates at a press conference, called shortly after they were born. Standard Procedure.
