Well lookie here, Pustule Hilton is calling the Speidi marriage BS. (Wait, wasn't P the one who broke this story?!)

He's saying Speidi concocted the plan for publicity and money (in the ballpark of $300-grand).

And he's saying Us was in on it, which I pretty much figured. [See my previous posting Speidi Got (Probably) Fake Married in Mexico]

Still, with all of his sanctimonious spewing and finger-wagging, you should know Pustule Hilton is friends with these two tools [i.e. Speidi]; as evidenced by this staged photo of the three coming out of a church (of all places)--with Bibles in tow.

Also--it bears repeating-- PUSTULE BROKE THE STORY before Us went to press.

In other words, duh!, he was totally in on the action too.

Grossness all around. And to think, Us is one of the more credible tabs.

Bad form!

But yes, Lohan, 22, is back to her drankin' ways. And the kicker is this documented evidence i.e. grainy, black and white security cam footage from a nightclub where SamRo deejayed recently.

Speidi Got (Probably) Fake Married in Mexico

Wedded ~~piss~~ bliss. Speidi spontaneously eloped in (to?) Mexico last Thursday. And a professional photog just happened to be there.

Also, something tells me this shiz isn't even valid. According to About.com "A marriage in Mexico is legal only if it is a civil ceremony performed at a local Civil Register Office (Oficina del Registro Civil). You can have a religious ceremony later." Also "There is a waiting period of two to three days in Mexico. It varies from state to state. Plan extra time for getting the paperwork all arranged."

In her Q & A with Us, Heidi says the wedding idea popped into her head over margaritas. So naturally she asked the locals if there was a chapel around, "and they [the locals] said yes, and it comes with a minister and a photographer. And we, suddenly were like, 'Wow, this feels like it was meant to be.' And the next thing you know, we got our margaritas in to-go glasses." (Yes, reading that made you slightly dumber.)

In other words--unless they waited for a few days, and had a separate civil ceremony--much like Speidi--this wedding is sooo fake!

Expect an oops followup and another cover story because they're douches like that.

And Us has sunk to a new low. To wit--it had to have been in on it because marriage licenses are public record. To wit--this whole thing could have been avoided--and debunked--with preliminary fact checking. To wit--we could have been spared.

Oprah's Favorite Things Episode is Going to Suck This Year

Not Happening!

Blame Wall Street. The best (and maybe the only) annual episode of Oprah is going to suck this year because the economy's in the shithole.

That's right, Oprah's "Favorite Things" episode--to air Nov. 26-- is going budget, according to Us. So instead of stuff like the loungy sailor pants, $800 Samsung camcorders and $3,600 HDTV LG refrigerators she "gave away" in 2007, a rep for the talk show host says--via statement-- Oprah'll be giving away items that "cost next to nothing"!

You'll also hear some great ideas to make your holiday party memorable and affordable," reads the statement. "And, Oprah unveils a special gift that won’t cost you a thing! Find out how to have the thriftiest holidays ever."

Ew! I hate it when people try to say "Christmas isn't about (expensive) presents."

Besides, Oprah's "Favorite Things" episode is just an hour's worth of product placement. Sure O probably likes all the things the sponsors ship to her to give away...yeah I'm not really sure where I was going that.

But Oprah should do her part to help the economy rather than try to help people cope i.e. she should endorse her sponsors' products (now more than ever) to give them a much needed sales boost.

I swear this makes sense (after all, we know what O's endorsements do for the book industry). It might even prevent some people from losing their jobs and becoming homeless.

While we're on the subject, why not wrangle up a bunch of poor people to be in the audience and give them a bunch of crazy cool stuff?!

Alright fine, real talk. I just want to see lots of women cry tears of joy as they scream/hyperventilate while jumping up and down.

Gwyneth Paltrow Says She Regrets Wearing Fur in Tod's Ad, No Mention of Python Handbag or Suede Pants

After upsetting PETA and supposedly Stella McCartney, Gwyneth Paltrow says she regrets wearing fur in this Tod's ad.

PETA senior vice president, Dan Mathews, ~~accosted~~ chatted with the actress at the Fontainebleau Hotel opening in Miami over the weekend; and according Mathews this is what Paltrow, 36, had to say about the, um, incident(?).

"That was awkward, and I'm glad you asked, because I do not wear fur at all. It was a daylong photo shoot on a boat near Capri, and there were all sorts of poses with all kinds of clothes - none with fur," she added. "During one set-up, a stylist came up from behind and draped a stole around my shoulder. I didn't pay much attention to it, and when I noticed it was fur, I assumed it was fake fur, but did not ask, so it's my fault. I was very surprised when they ended up using that one shot out of hundreds for the centerpiece of the Tod's ads.I know it's not a great excuse, but I hope you and your members understand." [Via Us]

Ashley Dupré: "It Wasn't Any Different Than Going on a Date With Someone You Barely Knew and Hooking Up With Them"

Aside from a brief telephone conversation with a NYT reporter, Ashley Alexandra Dupré--the former prosti-hooker from the Eliot Spitzer scandal--has remained tight-lipped about the ordeal. But now (when no one really cares about it anymore) she's finally talking.

Her first interview is in the latest issue of People--which hits newsstands on Friday. And judging from the portion that's currently available online, it's as passé as you might expect.

To wit--Dupré says some prosti patrons like to talk, so they can get to know each other, but with Spitzer, 49, it was "strictly business...more like a transaction." Also, Dupré, 23, says she thinks Spitzer has "been punished enough" and she's sorry for his wife Silda's pain.

The highlight, however, is Dupré's rationale for hooking.

"This wasn't any different than going on a date with someone you barely knew and hooking up with them," she says. "The only difference is I can pay my rent."

Which is all well and pretty skanky and everything, but tell me fellow 20-somethings, would you go out with this guy in the first place?

And that's undoubtedly not the worst of it.

Wow! I Was Gone for a Week, Missed Nothing

After spending almost a week in the company of neon fanny packs, crying children and overweight people on motor scooters (i.e. I went to Disney World)--leaving me with no time to blog--I was fully prepared to have to do some major catching up.

But actually, it turns out, nothing really happened (in my realm of the blogosphere, anyway).

Yeah the Dow was on its own roller coaster of sorts (although is that really news anymore?) and that whole Sarah Palin didn't know Africa was a continent rumor may have actually been a hoax (gasp!).

That's kinda it though.

Daily 10 co-host Debbie Matenopoulos's music exec husband filed for divorce online and neglected to tell her about it. Apparently Matenopoulos, 33, received the news via 'Internet posts.' "I was informed of my husband's divorce proceedings, much like you were," she said, "by reading them online." Eesh.[People]

A PETA member thought Lindsay Lohan was wearing fur to an event in Paris on Friday, so she did the right thing and pelted the lately lesbian with a flour bomb.

Of course SamRo came to LoHo's defense--on her MySpace blog--and got all deep, writing "The girl who threw [the flour bomb] acted like an animal herself."

In an episode to air on Thursday, Jennifer Aniston sorta kinda opened up to Oprah about saying Angelina Jolie's past behavior was "really uncool" and says Brad Pitt's "done some amazing things in the last couple of years. So I just think he's doing great."

Not to be out-blabbed, Aniston's publicity whore of a boyfriend, John Mayer, revealed a scintillating detail about their relationship, telling People "That girl [aka Jen] knows me ... so whether I go to bed alone or not, to have somebody who knows you in this world, that's a really nice thing."

Barney the White House Dog Bites Reporter

Today started out ordinarily enough for George W's Scottish Terrier Barney. He awakened from a peaceful slumber, sleepily stretched in his warm shearling-lined bed, panted a little and went out for his morning walk/crap.

Alas, Barney didn't even have time to sink his paws into the sprawling manicured lawn (let alone pee) before he was hounded by a group of overly-friendly reporters. Still, kinda the norm, so Barney would have been cool (irritated, but cool) if they'd limited it to the filming, picture-taking, and repeated 'Hi Barney's. But then, then, an annoying Reuters White House correspondent--who always hangs around Barney's pad--tried to touch him.

And that's where Barney drew the line.

Paparazzo Moos at Mary-Kate

So I guess Mary-Kate Olsen's friend backed into a parked car recently. There wasn't any damage, but in the midst of the ordeal some pap stuck his head in the car and mooed (yes, like a cow) at MK.

Not to side with celebs or anything, but it would have been more fitting if he'd oinked. Also, no offense to pigs.

But on a different note (because it's been bothering me), MK and Ashley Olsen have been on a promotional whirlwind to try to get you to buy their new book Influence--a coffee table tome (if there's a such thing), consisting of pictures of the twins and interviews with other famous people they've deemed influential.

Seems sort of interesting, right? After all, at just 22, the two are at the helm of multimillion-dollar empire. And they obviously lead very exciting lives.

And then of course there's the fact that MK wanted immunity before she was willing to talk to the feds about the death of Heath Ledger. (Unfortunately, she never had to. Case closed.)

But between their recent taciturn appearance on Oprah (and Ashley's recent solo appearance on Letterman) and this NYT profile of sorts, these tiny tycoons come off as boring blank slates, while also miraculously managing to seem like haughty, ungrateful A-holes.

Enter this long list of guidelines from an Oct. 29 Influence book-signing at a New York Barnes & Noble.

1) Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen will be with us for a limited time. They will only be signing copies of their book, Influence. They will not be speaking, reading or taking questions.
2) Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen will NOT sign any memorabilia or product other than Influence. There is a limit of one book per person, and your one book must be purchased here.
3) You will be directed to pay for your book upon entering the store and will be given a receipt for your purchase. Please keep your receipt. You will receive your book at the signing table.
4) Along with your receipt, you will be given a B&N wristband, and then directed to the event space on the 4th floor. You must have a receipt and a wristband to access the 4th floor.
5) Anyone approaching the signing table must have paid for the book and be wearing a B&N wristband. One person, one wristband, one book.
6) You will collect your signed book at the signing table. If you have paid for any additional copies, a staff member will provide you with those before you exit the space.
7) There is no photography allowed. You must put away your camera or cell phone before approaching the signing table. The authors will not pose for photos.
8) If you leave, or the authors leave, before you are able to collect a signed book, you may present your receipt to a cashier for either an unsigned book or a refund. (Refunds only issued within 14 days of receipt.)

John McCain's Appearance on SNL: Hilarious, But Also Kind of Sad...For Him

So much was funny about Sen. John McCain's faux QVC segment on this week's episode of SNL. But Cindy McCain may have been the best part; namely because she acted like the same mute Stepford Wife she's been for the ENTIRE campaign; and she gets that it's funny. (Also, besides beer, I think she may have found her calling. Yes, Cindy's brittle hands were practically made for showcasing jewelry on QVC.)

Of additional note: Sen. McCain departed from his role as the cantankerous crankpot of the campaign trail, and came off as likable and humorous.

I Won't Have What Joaquin Phoenix is Having

Not if it's going to make me cranky or slur (to the point where other people notice).

Yeah, you've probably heard: Joaquin Phoenix says he's quitting acting for good. Well now, here's the video of his announcement.

Call me crazy, but I think he may have been on something. Although in defense of Phoenix being a crankpot, that Extra reporter did lean on him while laughing in his face.

Also, that mustache totally disguises his cleft lip. (Apparently the term harelip is offensive, so don't go around saying it as you point at people.)

Oh, and this isn't the first time Phoenix, 34, has been fucked up on camera. I seem to remember an appearance he made on Leno in the early 2000s. Unfortunately, I can't find it anywhere.

Okay the episode I'm talking about aired on May 10, 2000. But I still can't find the clip. At the end of the interview Leno says, "Maybe next time you can be here in person"--or something to that effect.

Are the creative minds of the television world truly strapped for fresh ideas?! The answer is (obviously) yes.

Thanks to the moderate success of the new 90210, an unnamed CW spokesperson says "the network is developing an update of Melrose Place."

Cue 'Ughs' and groans.

"Details remain sketchy, but it's believed Melrose 2.0 would launch next fall," according to Entertainment Weekly.

And earlier this month--90210 and Melrose creator--Darren Starr told TVGuide.com: "Regardless of whether they do it or not, whether I'm part of it or not, I think it would be a fun thing to do."

Fun for who exactly, I'm not sure.

Okay so I was watching HBO's new lukewarm series True Blood--specifically an episode called "Burning House of Love"--and there was this hot love scene involving one of the main characters--Jason (aka Ryan Kwanten)-- and some chick--Amy Burley-- he met at Fangtasia--a vampire bar.

Just so you know the sequence of events, after leaving Fantgasia the two got high on vampire blood (I know, weird); and followed it up with trippy sex. [Clip Below]

Anyway, long story, short, Amy piqued my interest (and looked really hot, BTW) so I decided to do an IMDb search for the actress. And it turns out Amy is actually Lizzy Caplan i.e. Janice Ian from Mean Girls!

I never would have guessed Burley and Ian were played by the same person (and I've seen Mean Girls like six times).

Police Identify Body of Julian King

People mag: Police have identified the body of a young boy discovered in an SUV in Chicago as Jennifer Hudson's missing nephew Julian King, police Supt. Jody Weis said on Monday.

The body was discovered "in the rear seat" of a white Chevrolet Suburban on Chicago's West Side Monday morning, according to the Chicago Police Department. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to reports.

King, 7, went missing Friday after an unidentified assailant fatally shot Hudson's mother Darnell and brother Jason. Over the weekend, Hudson, 27, offered $100,000 for the safe return of her nephew.

The Chicago Police Department issued the following statement before noon on Monday: "At approximately 7:06 A.M. a 1994 White Chevrolet Suburban bearing Illinois license plate X584859 and identified in the Amber Alert was located at 1313 S. Kolin. A body was discovered inside the Suburban, in the rear seat of the vehicle."

The mother and brother of Jennifer Hudson were the two victims of a fatal shooting in Chicago, the actress's publicist confirmed to People tonight.

"We can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation concerning the deaths of Jennifer Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson," rep Lisa Kasteler said.

The details are scarce, but police say the shooting appeared to be the result of a domestic disturbance.

A 7-year-old boy--Julian King [pictured left]-- believed to be Donerson's grandson-- is missing, and a search is on for a man. An Amber Alert for King has been issued.

In case you're out of the loop, Holly, Bridget and Kendra (who I admittedly kinda like) are out, and a whole new bevy of bimbos is in, including 19-year-old twin sisters (gross) Karissa and Kristina Shannon. [Pictured Above]

Forget that Hugh Hefner, 82, and his girlfriends have orgies together, so that's kind of like incest, the Shannon sisters seem a little too enamored with their new lifestyle.

Case in point: their joint Myspace page, which includes a photo album titled "PLAYBOY CALIFORNIA!"

Yeah, they really want you to know they ~~hang out~~ live at the Playboy Mansion, so they've included pictures of "THE GRATTO!" (which they spelled incorrectly in the caption accompanying this pic), TWO pictures of the front of "THE PLAYBOY MANSION!" and a pic of "THE MAIN ROOM IN THE PLAYBOY MANSION!"

It turns out the $2,500 shantung silk Valentino jacket [seen above] Sarah Palin wore during her RNC speech was just one example of her exorbitant sartorial spending.

According to Poltico, "The Republican National Committee has spent more than $150,000 to clothe and accessorize the vice presidential candidate and her family since her surprise pick by John McCain in late August." (So not fair.)

Financial disclosure records reveal that Palin's spendthrift shopping sprees included a $75,062-trip to Neiman Marcus in September and two trips to Saks that--when combined--added up to a $49,425 bill. The RNC also spent $4,716 on hair and makeup through September after reporting no such costs in August, according to Politico.

How very working class.

Okay so in case you missed the season finale of Making the Band 4 season 3 on Tuesday night, Aubrey O'Day is out of the group...and so is D.Woods. Although there's probably going to be yet another season of Making the Band 4, so we'll see if the oustings stick. (Also see my previous posting on the subject.)

That's not really the point of this posting though. No, what struck me more than the breakup of Danity Kane, is when P. Diddy Daddy asked (last episode) why O'Day, 24, and, fellow DK member, Aundrea Fimbres never talk to each other.

Neither answered his question.

But O'Day and Fimbres, 25, don't talk?!

Really?!

Cause I thought they were supposed to be like BFFs or something.

Levi Johnston Speaks, Dropped Out of High School

Forget Troopergate (okay don't). Against the presidential campaign's advice to avoid the media, Levi Johnston--Bristol Palin's future baby daddy (sorry but it's succinct)-- recently gave an interview to the Associated Press. And among other things, Johnston said he dropped out of high school to take a job on the North Slope oil fields as an apprentice electrician. AP alludes that it was a decision Johnston made to show he was embracing fatherhood. The baby is due Dec. 18.

Johnston, 18, also denied rumors that he's being forced into a shotgun wedding with Palin, 17. Specifically, he said "We were planning on getting married a long time ago with or without the kid. We both love each other. We both want to marry each other. And that's what we are going to do."

The Mirror is reporting that Amy Winehouse has been contacted by members of the Church of Scientology, which hopes to ~~brainwash~~ convert/recruit the wayward singer.

"Amy has told mates she received a 'welcoming' phone call from the religious sect’s 'celebrity centre'” in LA. And the paper asserts it has spies who say "She's now seriously considering joining."

The church reportedly recommended their "Narconon drugs programme," to help Winehouse, 25, kick her raging addiction to drugs.

Uhh, I guess Scientologists like their potential converts nice and vulnerable. And boy is Amy Winehouse vulnerable.

Let me count the ways I'm surprised they didn't pounce sooner.

1. A bloodied Wino roamed the streets of London after getting into a scuffle with her husband Blaaake in August 2007.

2. Lest you forget Blake is currently incarcerated and won't be getting out of jail until December.

3. In January 2008, Winehouse was videotaped (allegedly) smoking crack.

4. Shortly thereafter, this video of her singing a racist song turned up.

5. She punched a fan in June.

6.Then smacked her bodyguard less than a month later; in both instances, for no good reason.

7. Oh yeah, she kicked off her series of beatings in April when she supposedly punched a dude who tried to help her hail a cab.

8. Then there was her alleged diaper-wearing-- although Ming and I determined that was just her slip showing, so she is actually potty trained, meanies.

9. Although she has been known to hold a baby in one hand while taking a shot with the other.

10. Wino pattern baldness caused quite a stir.

11. As did Winehouse's ever present, dirt (and sometimes blood) stained ballerina flats;

12. and ratty-ass beehive.

13. In early September doctors worried Wino was brain damaged from smoking too much pot. And by "too much pot" I mean Winehouse went on a 36-hour smoking spree.

14. Also, she supposedly overdosed twice in the span of a year. [Click Pic for Story]

15. Mind you, reports of possible brain damage and a double overdose came after doctors determined Wino had lung damage and an irregular heartbeat.

16. Finally, it kinda goes without saying but Winehouse went to rehab a bunch of times.

You know, after reviewing this lengthy list of Wino woes, if Tom Tom's kooky clan can actually help her, then how is that a bad thing?

Aubrey O'Day Gets Kicked Out of Danity Kane

Well this is enough to get me out of semi-retirement. Albeit not surprising, apparently Diddy Daddy kicked Aubrey O'Day out of Danity Kane during last night's episode of Making the Band 4. (Darn! I missed it.)

If you're a regular reader, you know O'Day, 24, is one of Earthnocentric™'s favorite train wrecks; and you also know it was just a matter of time before this happened.

O'Day and her crazy, porn-star-inspired antics have been angling to get out of the group for a while. Still, there may be another wrench in this twisted tale.

After the show aired O'Day released a weird/cryptic "exclusive" statement to Perez Hilton, in regard to her ousting.

She says:

"I didn't watch the finale, so I have no idea what story was told. The only comment I can make is… I wish that the world would focus more on the presidential election, the debates, the issues our country is facing, and the fact that if we don't vote for Obama our country will suffer beyond repair."

Uh, the world's pretty damn focused on the presidential election (egomaniacal much). But she's right, Obama better win.

Speaking of the debates though, does anyone else get the feeling that, despite all of his yammering about health care and taxes, Sen. John McCain has no actual, you know, plans for health care or taxes?

To be fair-- if we go by last night's debate--Obama seems to think the financial crisis (Panic of '08) is solely due to government deregulation. Hopefully providing an oversimplified answer to this mess is just a tactic for coaxing confused, exasperated voters into blaming the Republican Party.

Cause if not, uh oh.

I digress. Here's O'Day looking more radiant than usual at the New York premiere of Body of Lies (ha!) on Sunday.

Also here she is with her poor parti-color puppy at the Ivy Hotel in late September.

Bianca Golden: Nikki Blonsky Kicked My Mom in the Vagina

Remember when that Hairspray chick's dad supposedly beat up that America's Next Top Model chick's mom over a seating situation at the Turks and Caicos airport?

Well now said ANTM chick Bianca Golden is telling her side of the story to (who else?) TyTy Banks.

During an episode of The Tyra Banks Show, to air Oct. 9, Golden says she was, at the airport, returning from a family reunion for her dying grandfather, on July 29, when Nikki Blonksy (said Hairspray chick) became "very rude to my aunt."

An argument reportedly erupted between Blonsky and Golden's families, then, Golden says, Blonsky's father Carl "punched my mom," adding "He knocked her out. He hit my mom with such force she stumbled back and when she stumbled back the whole family got up and attacked my mom."

Then, when her mother was on the ground, Golden adds "[Nikki] takes her foot and kicks my mom in her vagina, and that's when my mom fell out completely."

I don't know if that's true, but Dayum!

Carl and Nikki Blonsky and Golden were all arrested on assault charges – the most serious charges against Carl. With good reason. Why was he involved in a girl fight?!?

A rep for Blonsky, 19, says: "Since this is a pending legal issue, we've been advised by her lawyer not to comment."

Heather Locklear's DUI Arrest was a Set Up

More details from Heather Locklear's weekend DUI-arrest are beginning to emerge. And if accurate, the circumstances leading up to her trip to the pokey are pretty effin' shady.

According to TMZ, the person who called 9-1-1 to report Locklear, 47, was ex Us Weekly staffer Jill Ishkanian...who is currently "under investigation by the FBI."

TMZ writes:

Ishkanian, who allegedly hacked into Us Weekly's computer system to locate celebs after she left the mag, was following Locklear in the Montecito area. Ishkanian watched the actress go to a market. When Heather got in her car, Ishkanian called 911, even though the car wasn't even moving at the time.

Now get this -- sources say immediately after Ishkanian called 911, she called a paparazzi agency to give them the heads up Heather was about to be popped. TMZ obtained those photos, not knowing it was Ishkanian who set the ball in motion.

And it gets worse. Ishkanian apparently is the only witness who says Locklear was driving erratically and that she was drunk, even though it's already established she was not under the influence of alcohol.

Wait, so does this mean Locklear didn't repeatedly run over a pair of sunglasses?! Cause that would suck.

Also, it kinda seems like TMZ might be sticking it to Ishkanian. I mean the cops obviously thought there were grounds for Locklear's arrest. And to this

"Ishkanian watched the actress go to a market. When Heather got in her car, Ishkanian called 911, even though the car wasn't even moving at the time."

I say, how did Locklear get to the market?

TMZ is definitely right about one thing though, Locklear wasn't drunk. No, police believe she was driving under the influence of a prescription medication/s, which is just as bad sometimes. (And come on, that glassy gaze is not the look of sober.)

Still it's all very shady, not to mention mean. Locklear's been having a rough year.

Sharon Stone Suggested Botox for Son's Foot Odor

Yes, Sharon Stone is (probably) as bat-shit crazy as we all suspected.

The actress/believer-of-karma recently lost "physical custody" of her eight-year-old son (or maybe she didn't), and on Tuesday the court released its "Tentative Statement of Decision," i.e. some of the embarrassing details involved in the battle for custody.

Apparently the judge overseeing the case concluded Stone, 50, has the tendency to "overreact to many medical issues involving" her son; and specifically cited her suggestion that he undergo a Botox treatment for his foot odor. The statement additionally mentions Stone's belief that her son had a spinal condition even though "there was no evidence to support" the allegation.

According to Superior Court papers, the judge also said Stone "delegates many of her parenting responsibilities to third parties" (code for Stone has nannies who parent for her) and has "simply refused" to participate in counseling unless her "schedule is accommodated and her demands are met."

Obvi the judge turned down Stone's request to move her son to Los Angeles, where she lives, from his father Phil Bronstein's home in San Francisco. Stone is reportedly allowed visitation on holidays and some weekends.

What's left to say? Just be glad she's not your mom.

A WTF? Fashion Moment Courtesy Maison Martin Margiela

Just when I think my fashion sense s'all sophisticated --and I begin to take pride in my ability to find beauty in what most would quickly deem fug-- a designer like Maison Martin Margiela earns high praise for his showing at Paris Fashion Week and leaves me totally confused (and in this case, also kind of scared).

I mean really with the hair? It's "art" and people aren't really going to wear these pieces, right?

FYI: Margiela's Paris fashion show on Tuesday marked the brand's 20th anniversary; a landmark event made more significant by abounding rumors that Margiela was looking for a successor and ready to retire. However, a spokesperson for the always elusive designer, who refuses to directly answer questions from reporters, tried to assuage the fears of his followers, and reportedly 'categorically denied' Margiela, 51, was going anywhere...for now.

In addition to a coat, seemingly made from blonde Barbie doll hair [pictured above], the Margiela spring 2009 collection featured an array of crazy-ass wigs, ranging from enormous platinum afros, worn backwards, to I-don't-what-this-is.

Though it has teeth and undoubtedly bites.

But set aside the wigs, and odd use of hair, for a second. And take in possibly the worst camel toe known to womankind.

It's either that or a backwards thong. Regardless, talk about uncomfortable. It almost (emphasis on almost) makes you see past the M&M-inspired leather jacket equipped with sleeve stirrups; or that the model's face is obscured by some sort of nylon-looking mask.

Still, if this collection's all about fun, and not meant to be taken seriously, then kudos! Job well done.

After that, Biel, 26, will star in a movie called Powder Blue; and will follow in the footsteps of Lindsay Lohan by playing a stripper (cause it worked out so well for the latter). That gem is supposed to hit theaters sometime next year.

Meg Ryan & Dennis Quaid: Divorced But Still Making Each Other Mad

Dennis Quaid is apparently pissed that ex-wife Meg Ryan recently divulged unflattering details about their troubled nine-year marriage.

In the October issue of InStyle Ryan, 46, said "Dennis was not faithful to me for a long time, and that was very painful," adding "I found out more about that after I was divorced." She then went on to explain her remarks during an interview with Diane Sawyer, saying I just wanted to "fill in the gaps for people."

But it seems Quaid, 54, would rather have the gaps unfilled or something, cause he fumed to NY Daily News.

"It was eight years ago, and I find it unbelievable that Meg continues publicly to rehash and rewrite the story of our relationship," he said. "Also, I find it regrettable that our son, Jack, has to be reminded in a public way of the turmoil and pain that every child feels in a divorce."

Quaid, who has since remarried and had twins, added "I, myself, have moved on years ago and am fortunate to have a happy, beautiful family."

FYI: Ryan also dished to InStyle about her romantic relationship with her Proof of Life co-star Russel Crowe, who she had an affair with while she was still married to Quaid.

Janet Jackson has been hospitalized, according to People.

The singer "got suddenly ill during the sound check" before her concert in Montreal and had to be rushed to the hospital, according to a statement released by W&W Public Relations.

Jackson, 42, is being monitored at the hospital, and hopes to reschedule the show.

No further information was given about Jackson's condition.[People]

Yes apparently Osbourne, 22, helped chase down a mugger on Saturday, after he reportedly saw him steal a woman's bag.

Along with five other good Samaritans, including a paramedic, Osbourne then wrestled the mugger and pinned him to the ground until authorities arrived.

“I could see the girl was in trouble, it just felt like the natural thing to do," Osbourne (The Prince of Sunshine?) said. "I’m glad it turned out okay.” [People, News of the World]

Travis Barker Released From Hospital

After nine days, Travis Barker has been released from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. [People]

"Travis is in good condition and was discharged this morning," Burn Center spokesperson Beth Frits said on Monday. "He has left Augusta."
Barker, who lives in Los Angeles, is headed back to California, according to a source. "He's on a bus headed to L.A." the source said. "Trust me, he will never fly again – ever."

The musician, 32, was admitted in critical condition in the early hours of Sept. 20 after a Learjet 60 carrying him and five others crashed upon takeoff from the South Carolina's Columbia Metropolitan Airport, about an hour away.

Heather Locklear Arrested for DUI

Heather Locklear was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of prescription drugs on Saturday afternoon in Santa Barbara County, Calif.

"Around 4:30 p.m., a female witness saw Heather Locklear driving erratically while leaving a parking lot in Montecito," California Highway Patrol spokesman Tom Marshall told People. "The witness said Locklear was revving her engine loudly, and backed over a pair of sunglasses several times." (She was probably picturing Denise Richards.)

Because Locklear, 47, appeared "disoriented and impaired," she was taken to a local CHP station and drug and alcohol tests were administered, Marshall said. The actress was cooperative.

"Alcohol was ruled out as a factor, but based on the officer's observations, we believe Locklear was under the influence of prescription medication," Marshall added.

Locklear was arrested on suspicion of DUI and being under the influence of a controlled substance. She was booked at a local jail around 7 p.m., and released hours later. [People]

This isn't all that surprising. Locklear has been kind of mess for at least the last several months. In June she even underwent four weeks of treatment in Arizona, supposedly for anxiety and depression.

T-Pain Adds a Hearse to His Car Collection

Big Tymers bragged about having "an ol' school Caddy with a 'diamond in the back'" in their 2002 hit song "Still Fly."

These six long years later, someone has finally outdone them.

T-Pain added a '91 Cadillac hearse to his collection of 22 cars(!), recently.

And if that weren't enough...

"I just got a blue top put on it," he says. "And I've got a matching blue fiberglass coffin in the back."

Dayum! Stunna.

'What did T-Pain put in that blue fiberglass coffin,' you ask? "Speakers and TVs," of course.

Also, the hearse apparently came equipped with an aroma. No, not new car smell. An embalming fluid aroma. You see, shortly before T-Pain, 22, bought the hearse it was actually used to transport dead bodies.

"We had to Febreeze the hell out of the car," he says. "Everyone is afraid of it. But I don’t think of it in that way. It’s a car."

Riiight.

The hearse was also used as a prop (of sorts) in a recent photo shoot for T-Pain's upcoming album Thr33 Ringz, to-be-released on Nov. 11.

Hugh Hefner and Holly Madison Split (Probably)

Apparently there have been a bunch of rumors circulating the Interweb saying Hugh Hefner, 82, and Holly Madison's relationship kicked rocks. News to me, but despite contrary reports, I think the rumors might be at least partially true. To wit--if Madison and Hef aren't technically broken-up now, they will be soon.

Here's why.

Earlier this month The Dirty (which I won't link because the author of that site is an asshole) reported that Madison moved out of the Playboy Mansion because she was sleeping with illusionist/skeazoid Criss Angel. It added that "an inside source said Hef is totally fine with it." But "now The Girls Next Door producers are scrambling on how they are going to finish the show with Holly Madison- Ex-Girl Next Door."

This info.'s not all that believable on its own. Also, E! refuted the claims (of course).

But then Perez Hilton reported that "Holly and Criss were seen dancing and kissing" at the Wynn Hotel's Blush night club in Vegas on Saturday. He cited secret sources, who might not be reliable, since we are talking about Perez Hilton. That said, there is this photographic "evidence."

Most telling, though, is actually Hef's denial about the break-up.

"She [Holly] is still my girlfriend," he told Us. "Now will that last? I don’t think anything lasts forever."

"I love her very much, but you know, she wants very much to get married and have children. That isn’t very much in the cards for me," he added. "So there has to be a certain reality there. And I’m sure the time will come when she’ll be dating others. That’s part of the transition."

Read between the lines peeps.

Also of note, Madison, 28, took all of the pictures of Hef off her Myspace page. [Yes even The New York Times has stooped to using MySpace as a source.]

My guess is that, at most, they'll keeping up appearances until the end of the new (fifth) season of E!'s Girls Next Door, which premieres Oct. 5. (Although, according to E!, the girls have committed to doing a sixth season of the show...if there is one.) After that, though, there's a chance Hef will be looking for an entirely new set of girlfriends.

Kendra Wilkinson, 23, and the octogenarian reportedly broke up at least a month ago. And word in blogland is she's getting her own show, which might also air on E!. There are also rumors that she's dating, and might even be engaged to (which I doubt and she denies), Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett.

Also, on Wednesday Page Six reported that Hef's third girlfriend Bridget Marquardt is actually already married to some guy in Ohio. Don't get excited, it's not as scandalous as it sounds. In September 2007, Marquardt, 35, told Star mag, that, yes, she's technically married to Chad Marquardt; but the two separated when she moved to LA in 2002; and that their divorce was in the works. However, Marquardt did let slip that she still talks to Chad on the phone (as of Sept. 2007), adding "Hef's known from the start." And she did say "maybe we'll get back together. "

Even if there's nothing to the husband story, at 35, Marquardt's getting up there by Hef standards.

Confirmed. Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, 22, was born in prison*. Her mom was serving a 10-year federal prison sentence for smuggling marijuana into the U.S. from Jamaica at the time of Leighton's birth. It's the Us cover story this week. Click pic for full story and see my previous posting.

Additional note: Despite being sentenced to 10 years in a Texas federal prison, Meester's mom Connie only served 16 months, according to Us.

This story was first reported by Star mag earlier this month. But since it has credibility issues no one was 100 percent sure it was true.

Enter an even more convoluted parade of drama.

Obama, on the other hand, wants the debate to happen as scheduled. And as of this moment the debate's still on. But both candidates are scheduled to meet with Bush--together-- tomorrow in Washington. (The two have also issued this joint statement.) So we'll see what happens.

Speaking of BUMmers, did Kim Kardashian seriously dance to Sir Mix-A-Lot's 'Baby Got Back?' The answer is yes she fucking did. During the intro. to her routine she also talked about her butt a lot. And since, it turns out, she really can't dance, there was a lot of pointing to her butt and (sorry) half-assed butt shaking in her routine.

How did she get through a performance with the Pussycat Dolls?!

Kardashian, 27, got the second lowest score of the night. In fact, only Cloris Leachman did worse. And lest you forget, Leachman is 82-years-old! Also, I'm pretty sure Cloris said 'Oh you bitch' when she saw her score from judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who gave her a 6 (lmfao).

Apparently Tuesday's episode of The Martha Stewart Show was dedicated to hot dogs--one of America's most popular foods. As depicted above, part of that involved Stewart, 67, hoisting a 15-foot long wiener.

According to USAToday, the frank was modeled after the world’s largest hot dog, which was 197-feet long. The smaller version was made by Empire National in Brooklyn and was hand delivered to Stewart’s studio for the special taping.

Although quite frankly, I'm sure Martha could have made the thing herself.

October Vogue Features Chewbacca Chic (?)

What a difference a month makes. In the September issue of Vogue, editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour stated: "We were always conscious that fashion may not be, in this period of economic and political uncertainty, at the forefront of our readers' minds. We've tried, therefore, to edit the collections with value for money in mind."

Since then Lehman Brothers crumbled. Merill Lynch sold out. AIG sought a multi-billion dollar lifeline. "Analysts beat the drums of doom." The Fed intervened to save Wall Street ( and correspondingly the nation's economic stability), with tentative plans to pump over half a trillion dollars into the markets . And when the dust finally settles, some predict the USD will be worth diddlysquat (that's a technical term) and the country, as a whole, will be further entrenched in ENORMOUS debt.

In keeping with the times, for the October issue, Vogue decided to showcase fur.

Grossly decadent? Yeah, kinda. A crime against animal-ity? That's for you to decide. But unequivocally, Vogue's biggest offense is that it's pitching Chewbacca-like coats to its readers.

Clay Aiken finally comes out of the closet in the new issue of People. And honestly I can't muster much of a reaction because, despite Aiken's silence up till now, haven't we already known this for years?! I mean his nickname is Gayken.

Anyway, at least it's probably a load off for him.

Amid the flashy costumes, (mostly) annoying banter and stiffly-executed foxtrots, it's hard to keep track of the, supposed, celebrity competitors and their partners on Dancing with the Stars. So, I present the season 7 line-up, which will be updated every time a couple is eliminated.

The Television, Music and Film Entertainers

LANCE BASS

Age: 29
Professional Dance Partner: Lacey Schwimmer (Newcomer)
Why he's famous: Bass's claim to fame is that he made up one-fifth of the boy band 'NSync. In case you were living under a rock during the late-90's-- and at the turn of the millennium--'NSync was a big deal. The group sold over 56 million records worldwide, according to Wiki; and served as a platform for Justin Timberlake's now red-hot career. Sadly (or not), 'NSync disbanded in 2002. After that Bass was all about going into outer space, which seemed totally crazy to everyone at first. But then Bass was certified by NASA, The Russian Space Program and underwent cosmonaut training. Everyone started to think he was actually going to do the damn thing. But then Bass's sponsors backed out unexpectedly and he was denied a seat aboard the mission. Coming out the closet is the last notable thing Bass has done. Yep, He's Gay. No big deal, right? Well it earned him the cover of People in July 2006. Oh yeah, and Bass's subsequent autobiography Out of Sync made The New York Times Best Seller List in October 2007.

SUSAN LUCCI

Age: 61
Professional Dance Partner: Tony Dovolani
Why she's famous: Lucci is (maybe) best known for her role as Erica Kane on the daytime soap opera All My Children; a role she's been playing for almost 40 years! The only thing Lucci might be better known for is losing at the Emmys a bunch of freakin' times. To be exact, she had 18 failed nominations...in a row! Lucci eventually won in 1999. But she should have told the academy, or whatever, to shove it. Lucci also schills hair care products and a bunch of other crap on the Home Shopping Network (HSN). And if you stay up late enough, you might even see her in an infomercial.

KIM KARDASHIAN

Age: 27
Professional Dance Partner: Mark Ballas (DWTS' reigning champ. Son of newcomer Corky Ballas.)
Why she's famous: Kardashian first arrived on the scene as Paris Hilton's BFF in mid-2006. But she didn't rise to fame until after the release of her disappointing porn with Brandy Norwood's brother Ray J in early-to-mid- 2007. This was also right around the time people realized Kardashian had an enormous, maybe fake, ass. That said, there's really no discernible reason for Kardashian's fame as she does not appear to have any skills or talents. She stars, alongside the rest of her family, in an E! reality show--Keeping up with the Kardashians--produced by Ryan Seacrest. (If you haven't seen it. Don't.) And she posed for Playboy in December 2007.

CLORIS LEACHMAN

Age: 8-fuckin'-2!
Professional Dance Partner: Corky Ballas (Newcomer and father of Mark Ballas)
Why she's famous: Does being a badass count? Leachman is perhaps best known for her role as Phyliss Lindstrom, the nosy neighbor on the Mary Tyler Moore Show. The popular character resulted in the spinoff--Phyliss. Leachman also won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Last Picture Show. And according to Wiki, Leachman has won eight Emmy Awards--more than any other female performer (the opposite of Susan Lucci?). Of late, Leachman has played supporting roles in movies like Spanglish, Scary Movie 4 and, the oh-so-fantastic, Beerfest. Most recently, Leachman took part in the Roast of Bob Sagat, which aired on Comedy Central in August.

CODY LINLEY

Age: 18
Professional Dance Partner: Julianne Hough (Two-time DWTS champion and sister of Derek Hough.)
Why he's famous: Linley is all about extremes. He's the youngest person on DWTS this season and he's the least talked about character on Hannah Montana. Okay fine, besides Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus I can't name a single person on the show.

BROOKE BURKE

Age: 37
Professional Dance Partner: Derek Hough (Nickmame should be McCreepy. Brother of Julianne Hough.)
Why she's famous: Burke is known for being the really, really hot former host of Wild On E! She used to be married to a plastic surgeon (go figure). They had two daughters but divorced in 2006. Later that year Burke announced her engagement to Baywatch's David Charvet, with whom she now also has two children. One is strangely named Heaven Rain. In 2005 Burke also hosted Rock Star, an American Idol-type show in which contestants competed to be in the rock group INXS. You may have also seen Burke in various lad mags, like Maxim and the now defunct FHM; More recently Burke swung on a swing in a Burger King commercial, which also starred Hootie, of Hootie and the Blowfish. Apparently Burke also started a company that sells wraps for pregnant women.

TED McGINLEY

Age: 50

Professional Dance Partner: Inna Brayer (Newcomer)
Why he's famous: McGinley is best known for playing Jefferson D'Arcy, the second husband of Marcy D'Arcy, real-life lesbian Amanda Bearse, on the long-running series Married with Children. After 10 years, or 11 seasons, the show ended in 1997. Since then McGinley starred in the craptastic Hope & Faith with Kelly Ripa. The show ran for three seasons before it was canceled in 2006. According to Wiki, McGinley has been called the patron saint of "jumping the shark," a "reference to the popular and enduring shows which have featured him in their declining years." Such shows include Happy Days, Dynasty, The Love Boat and Married with Children (and Dancing with the Stars?).

ROCCO DiSPIRITO

Age: 42 (Unbelievable)
Professional Dance Partner: Karina Smirnoff
Why he's famous: Dispirito is a celebrity chef who I, admittedly, don't know much about. He served as a guest judge for a couple episodes of Top Chef. And his, maybe fake, reality show--The Restaurant--which chronicled the daily-doings of DiSpirto and his business partner as they prepped to open a restaurant in NYC--earned him bad publicity; and was subject to some sort of controversy. The restaurant reportedly flopped shortly after opening. Apparently People named DiSpirito the 'Sexiest Chef Alive' in 2002. And his mom is known for her Italian meatballs. Beginning in October, Dispirito will star in an A&E reality series called Rocco Gets Real. Its debut will coincide with the release of his new book--Rocco Gets Real: Cook At Home Every Day.

TONI BRAXTON

Age: 40
Professional Dance Partner: Alec Mazo (DWTS' first champion. Husband of Edyta Sliwinska)
Why she's famous: Braxton was one of the most popular (if not thē most popular) songstresses of the mid-to-late-nineties. She sold 40 million records worldwide. According to Wiki, Braxton's "number one hit 'Un-Break My Heart' is the second biggest single by a female artist"...ever (whatever that means)! And who could forget the song's hot ass music video, which also starred supermodel Tyson Beckford?! But despite the staggering sales of her albums, Braxton very publicly filed for bankruptcy in 1998 due to a reported $3.9 million of debt. Consequenty, she had to sell off her household possessions and music awards, including six Grammys. Braxton sort of bounced back in 2006 when she replaced Wayne Newton as the headlining act at the Flamingo Hotel in Vegas. The show's success made Braxton the "first African American performer in Las Vegas to enter the top ten Vegas show's charting," also according to Wiki. But after being hospitalized for chest pains in April 2008, Braxton decided to take a break. The show was subsequently cancelled altogether, supposedly, so she could focus on her health. Why she decided to compete in the physically taxing DWTS remains a mystery.

JEFFREY ROSS

Age: 43
Professional Dance Partner: Edyta Sliwinska (Wife of Alec Mazo)
Why he's famous: Ross is a stand-up comic who has appeared on a multitude of late shows, including The Late Show with David Letterman and The Night Show with Jay Leno. But he's probably most know for participating in celebrity roasts. He's made fun of everyone from Flava Flav to Bob Saget. Ross is currently the 'Roastmaster General' for the New York Friars' Club.

MISTY MAY-TREANOR

Age: 31
Professional: Maksim Chmerkovskiy (Certified Hottie)
Why she's famous: May-Treanor is a beach volleyball champion and a two-time Olympic gold medalist. Most recently May-Treanor and her partner Kerri Walsh won gold at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics; and it marked their 108th consecutive win!!

MAURICE GREENE

Age: 34
Professional Dance Partner: Cheryl Burke (DWTS two-time champion.)
Why he's famous: Greene is also two-time Olympic gold medalist. He won the 100 meter sprint and the 4x100 meter relay at the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympics. And he holds several world sprinting records. In 1999 Greene set the 100 m world record at 9.79 s, which earned him the title of 'Word's fastest man.' Greene's 100 m record stood until 2005, when Asafa Powell beat it by .01 seconds. According to Wiki, Greene announced his retirement in February 2008 in Beijing, citing nagging injuries and a wish to see new individuals succeed in the sport. In addition to DWTS, Greene appeared on an episode of the reality dating show Blind Date.

WARREN SAPP

Age: 35
Professional Dance Partner: Kym Johnson
Why he's famous: During his 13-year NFL career, Sapp played defensive tackle (huh?) for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders. He retired in 2007. According to Wiki, Sapp's " 96.5 career sacks are the second-highest career total sacks for a defensive tackle and the 28th highest overall for a defensive lineman. His 77 sacks with the Buccaneers is second in the team's history." (But again I ask, what is this thing you call sports?) More in tune with my level of understanding, Sapp has been the source of some controversy because of his hard-hitting style and his occasional verbal outbursts, both on and off the field. Some of the said outbursts resulted in NFL fines, and Sapp was once ejected from a game for unsportsmanlike conduct; although you'd never know it based on the fun-loving attitude displayed on the show. Sapp actually seems like a lot of fun.

Knut's Keeper Found Dead in his Apartment

"The zookeeper who gained fame for hand-rearing the beloved polar bear Knut was found dead in his Berlin apartment on Monday," according to AP.

A spokeswoman for Berlin police said Thomas Doerflein was dead when authorities arrived at the apartment and that they had no information on the cause of death.

He was 44 years old.

Doerflein worked at the zoo for more than 25 years. According to the newspaper Die Welt, Doerflein was a Berlin native with two grown children. He lived with his girlfriend and her young son.
