Bret Michaels's Head WITHOUT a Bandanna!

When I saw the preview for this week's upcoming episode of Rock of Love 2 I couldn't believe my eyes.

For a split-second there was a shot of-- what appeared to be-- the back of Bret Michaels's head...without a bandanna. I immediately consulted the Interweb--okay so I didn't do it immediately--and discovered, via VH1.com, that Sunday's episode will not only be about Michaels meeting the parents of his three potential mates, it will also showcase the unveiling of his unadorned dome--don't let your mind take you there.

Lucky for you, you don't have to wait that long.

To get a long, hard look at his head in all of its exposed glory, fast forward to 2:06 in the video below. I admit, it's kind of anticlimactic.



FYI: Kristy Joe Muller, one of the contestants no longer on the show, told In Touch Weekly Michaels's long golden locks aren't natural.

"Ive pulled on Bret's hair," she said. “I know it’s not a wig, but he does wear extensions.”

Yeah, I could believe it too.

Update: In an April 14, 2008 Associated Press feature Michaels said, "my hair is combined of my [natural] hair and the finest extensions Europe has to offer. I do the show without [the bandanna] on all the time and they won't film me. They are like, 'Put your bandanna back on. It is your image.' It is my signature thing."

Mystery solved.
