Tyra Banks + Models Celebrate "Vogue Italia's" "Black Issue"

Tyra Banks and fellow models, including Chanel Iman, Veronica Webb, Noemie Lenoir, Selita Ebanks and Beverly Johnson, celebrated Vogue Italia's "Black Issue" in NYC on Tuesday. The festivities coincided with taping for an episode of The Tyra Banks Show, set to air September 11.

For its July issue, Vogue Italia, made an unprecedented move (for a high-fashion magazine), and opted to use only black models. Some people obviously liked it (I personally did). Others, not so much. Either way the magazine sold out in the U.S. and U.K. within 72-hours, according to Time. It had to "rush to reprint 30,000 extra copies for American newsstands" alone.

Though where the hell was Toccara Jones, during the celebration?!? She was in the magazine and a contestant on ANTM. BTW no Naomi Campbell either, but that's not surprising.
