Ashley Dupré: "It Wasn't Any Different Than Going on a Date With Someone You Barely Knew and Hooking Up With Them"

Aside from a brief telephone conversation with a NYT reporter, Ashley Alexandra Dupré--the former prosti-hooker from the Eliot Spitzer scandal--has remained tight-lipped about the ordeal. But now (when no one really cares about it anymore) she's finally talking.

Her first interview is in the latest issue of People--which hits newsstands on Friday. And judging from the portion that's currently available online, it's as passé as you might expect.

To wit--Dupré says some prosti patrons like to talk, so they can get to know each other, but with Spitzer, 49, it was "strictly business...more like a transaction." Also, Dupré, 23, says she thinks Spitzer has "been punished enough" and she's sorry for his wife Silda's pain.

The highlight, however, is Dupré's rationale for hooking.

"This wasn't any different than going on a date with someone you barely knew and hooking up with them," she says. "The only difference is I can pay my rent."

Which is all well and pretty skanky and everything, but tell me fellow 20-somethings, would you go out with this guy in the first place?

And that's undoubtedly not the worst of it.

Ironic really.
Ashley Alexandra Dupré, 23, the Prosti..hook, er, um, call-girl from the Spitzer scandal, hit up a New Jersey beach with her mom on Sunday. [Lascivious male members of the blogosphere, insert all references to her rack here].

The two reportedly refused to talk to reporters.

First Ashley Dupré Photos Since Spitzer Scandal

Finally,the former prosti-hooker Ashley Alexandra Dupré, 23, makes her first public appearance (the first one caught on camera anyway) since that whole Eliot Spitzer scandal thing. It's about time! And unfortunately, it's anti-climactic. She looks cuter in a bikini on a yacht.

Money doesn't necessarily equate to having an easy life obviously. But she said she used to be "broke and homeless*."

Ashley Alexandra Dupré Sues Joe Francis

Ashley Alexandra Dupré, the call-girl from the Spitzer Scandal, has leveled a $10 million lawsuit against Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis.

In the lawsuit filed on Monday, Dupré claims Francis "exploited her name and image for profit."

Dupré further alleges that "Girls Gone Wild representatives approached her while she was vacationing in Florida in 2003, offered her alcohol and cajoled--ha ha-- her into exposing her breasts for their cameras when she was just 17 (and not of proper legal age to sign a release form allowing her to be filmed)."

"Since then, the suit claims, Girls Gone Wild has illegally exploited Dupré's name, picture, voice and likeness in a number of deceptive ad campaigns and on Web sites. "

Dupré, who turns 23 this week, hasn't made a public appearance since that whole downplayed debacle. And I ask you, 'Why the Hell Not?' I want to see her...sort of.
