Paris Hilton Plans to Sell Her Fake Fraggle Hair

Paris Hilton's plot to sell you cheap hair extensions is, reportedly, in the works.

I mention this only because of that funny shit Tina Fey said on The Howard Stern Show a couple years ago. When asked if Hilton was hard to work with on SNL, Fey said "she was awful," adding "you would walk down the hall and find what looked like nasty wads of Barbie hair on the stairs. Her hair is like a Fraggle."

I know you guys are just waiting to stampede for some fake Fraggle hair.

So there's more good news. Hilton, 27, has, apparently, already shot part (or all) of the campaign. (You can peep the pics at The Superficial.)

And soon you'll be able to buy the damn things on some Web site called DreamCatchers (so much for stampeding).

Update: So I went back and took a closer look at that DreamCatchers site (yeah I'm embarrassed). And it's worse than I thought.

Hilton isn't just selling fake hair. She is selling fake hair attached to interchangeable headbands!

And just because my theme for today seems to be nostalgia...

Apologies for making Fraggle Rock share a posting with Paris Hilton.

Lindsay Lohan's Ugly Leggings Line is Expensive

Yes Lindsay Lohan, 22, has launched a line of leggings. We all knew it was coming (I think). It's called 6126 because that was Marylin Monroe's birthday (aww). And Lohan sure likes her a lot. A lotta lot.

Anyway, (surprise!) the leggings are fugs and pretty pricey.

And these aren't even leggings. They're a forty-two-dollar pair of weird-ass socks. Shopping Intuition is calling them "Leopard ankle gloves." Fine. I can live with that description. It's actually funnier. Did they think pairing em' with patent leather, Mary Jane pumps would confuse us into to thinking they were cute?

These ones (actual leggings), selling for $132 (fuck that), come with built-in, quilted knee pads. I can think of a number of crass things to say about that, but I won't. And no, it's not because I'm dignified or classy. The "Lindsay's-a-slut" jokes are just tired. Besides, I think we're already in agreement, she's probably skanky.

Lastly, somewhere some one should be pissed because Lindsay didn't design these.

They're just a replica of the bottom half of Halle Berry's Catwoman costume. The uncredited designer should get a cut of the $99 they're going for.

After all of this, if you're so inclined, you can buy the things at Shop Intuition.

P.S. Peep my tribute to the many looks of Lohan in leggings.

A Day Leggings Should Die

For those of you without a clue, wayward actress Lindsay Lohan is launching a leggings line called 6126.

“I’m doing my own leggings line! But it’s a secret,” the dumbass told Life & Style back in March. “It will be a while before it comes out, but I’m going to do it. I love leggings.”

Well apparently, and unfortunately, the "it will be a while" has arrived. The official launch is "only weeks away." And
according to MavrizOnline, the name of the line is an ode, of sorts, to Marilyn Monroe who was born on June 1, 1926. So clever.

Based on these various looks, Lohan should keep her day job...uh.

Lindsay Lohan Gets Dressed in the Dark

Furglary, crappy movie role ousting and and other miscellaneous kleptomania aside, Lindsay Lohan, 21, clearly needs help getting dressed before she steps foot in public.

These pictures are from a Friday photoshoot for her new leggings line, 6126. Yes, I'm fucking serious.

Bear with me while I prepare a Lindsay Lohan in hideous leggings montage. Coming soon...

Perez Hilton is a Mercenary Whore

Perez Hilton is now hawking clothes at Hot Topic.

Referring to himself in the third person, he writes on his blog, "Notorious blogger and 'Queen of All Media,' Perez Hilton, can now also call himself a designer."

I don't know. Can he?

Hideousness. The clothes are ugly too.

Will someone please fetch him a rock boulder to go live under?

What's Up with the Ads for Beyoncé's Clothing Line?

The Beyoncé and Tina Knowles clothing line, House of Deréon, recently expanded to include designs for girls. Here's a couple of the print ads that ran recently.

[Click to Enlarge]I don't get why the girls are made-up to look like baby prostitutes. But whatevs. I think that five-year-old is pulling off the stiletto boots.

This one looks like she's been pounced on by a wild pack of pageant moms.

Marilyn Manson + Absinthe = Mansinthe

That's right Marilyn Mason has his own brand of absinthe called Mansinthe. For anyone who read that Spin article by Jonathan Ames, this shouldn't come as a surprise. Dude got tanked.

Evan Rachel Wood sampled it.

“
For my [20th] birthday, I did one shot to try it, and that was it," she said. "I was drunk immediately. Being who he is, Manson wanted to make it as strong as it could possibly be, so it’s got the highest amount of wormwood that you can have legally. One shot of it, and you’re out for the night. Three shots of it, you’re dead.”

She added, "I think he agrees with me; you can't drink Mansinthe every day."

I'm not touching the last part of that quote. Just bad.

Also of note, she calls her much older boyfriend 'Manson.' Creepy on more than one level.

Marilyn or Mary may be worse.

Reportedly critics who've tried Mansinthe compared its odor to "sewage water" and "swamp mud." And the taste has been described as being "as bad as cat piss."[Side-Line] Although I figure absinthe doesn't generally taste good.

I don't know if it means anything, but Mansinthe did win the Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in April.

You can buy it here for about $55 per bottle.

Absinthe became semi-legal again in the U.S. mid-2007, meaning it's legal "as long as manufacturers can prove that thujone levels--the stuff that may or may not make people hallucinate (i.e. the good part)-- are almost undetectable." [SFGate]

It was originally outlawed in 1912.

Stateside, I'm not sure if Mansinthe will ever be available for purchase. Does anyone know?

One of These Things is Not Like the Others

[Click to Enlarge]One of these things just doesn't belong. Cough. Cough. Rumer Willis.

Don't feel bad. That whole nepotism thing is working out for you.

Is Corbin Bleu playing pocket pool?!
