Today Around the Blogosphere...

Anne Hathaway's private diaries have been seized by the FBI "as part of their ongoing investigation into 12 counts of wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering charged against her ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, 29." [Us, NYDN]

Hathaway, 25, has not been implicated in any of his alleged crimes.

According to Star (so it must be true), Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura, 21, and P. Diddy Daddy, 38, are engaged.

"He told everyone to keep it extremely quiet because he didn't want it to get out, but you could tell he was excited," an disclosed source said to the mag. "Diddy said they hadn't set a date yet, but he wanted his family to hear the news first."

Diddy Daddy, allegedly, revealed his engagement at his son Justin's eighth-grade graduation ceremony in Riverdale, N.Y., on June 5.

His 10-year, off and on, relationship with model Kim Porter came to an end last July.

I'm pretty sure I don't believe this. But there you have it.

Today Around the Blogosphere...

The Wendy Williams Show has been on TV for all of a week, and the claws are already coming out.

Today Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, 34, was on to plug her new book the Bitch Switch (out in October), when, suddenly, the conversation devolved to Williams calling her "an angry black woman," later adding that she needed Restylane for the lines around her mouth. Snap! To be fair, Omarosa did say Williams, 44, had a sky-high weave, and asked if she had a nose job.

Williams denied it, saying Botox is the only thing she's had done to her face.

All of which is why you'd think this would have made for awkward interview, but these two women smoothly transitioned from one insult to the next, like seasoned pros.

And about that nose job, I think she might've. [Give me a minute to put together a before & after]

Yeah, so it turns out old pictures of Williams are rare. This is the best I could come up with.

Inconclusive.

Khloe Kardashian, 24, spent three hours in jail on Friday, a result of her DUI-related probation violation. She was sentenced to up to 30 days in jail, but we all knew that wasn't going to happen. I thought, if anything, this ordeal would produce a good mugshot...but even that's not that bad. [People]

"I'd love to do a younger, cleaner version of Sex and the City," Miley Cyrus, 15, reportedly says in the new issue of TV Guide.

Uhh, you're, getting colder Miley. Turn around and go the other way.

Khloe Karadashian, 24, has been sentenced to a maximum of 30 days in jail for violating the terms of her DUI- related probation. I guess she was an idiot and didn't do the mandatory roadside clean-up or sign-up for alcohol education classes. Whatever, she might not actually be that dumb. Five bucks says she only serves a few hours in jail. She has until Friday to surrender. [People]

Wow! This is not the kind of lip-syncing that was on Sesame Street when I was a kid. Darn you Feist! Step away from the four monsters, four penguins and four chickens.

And to think I respected her (kinda) before she sold herself to Apple and buddied-up with Perez Hilton. Oh well.

Although, since people say my generation doesn't condemn artists for selling out, what's next? Maybe we should ask these guys.

Today Around the Blogosphere...

I can't believe this mean-old-lady is getting her own television talk show. FOX (of course) will begin airing it on Monday.

And I know this is old news, but I just saw it for the first time recently. [Clip Below]

Background: Back in 2006 Wendy Williams broke the news, on air, that Method Man's wife had cancer. Problem is, she wasn't supposed to. At the time not even his wife's family members knew she was sick. As a result, Method Man was, understandably pissed. [Understatement]

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn't even know these two were dating. I like Emily Blunt, 25, (The Devil Wears Prada). By all accounts (I'm aware of) she's a good actress. (If you want to see lesbian action, watch her in My Summer Love.) And she had a cool feature in NYT Magazine. Michael Bubble, Bublé, 32, on the other hand, seems like an ass. I remember when he performed on American Idol, then asked if he could still vote for Antonella Barba, even though she'd already been eliminated. I guess he was dating Blunt at the time; since People says there were together for three years. Alright, I'll stop rambling.

Update: LaineyGossip has proof. Bublé's a d. bag.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Speaking of break-ups, The Bachelorette's DeAnna Pappas, 26, and Jesse Sin-Sac, 26, have launched their own Web site/blog, so "they can share their lives with you." Okay so these two haven't broken-up, but they will. Though I will say they're a lot more convincing than Shayne Lamas, 22, and that Matt guy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Does this make you want to vote?

If Us Weekly sales turn out to be--in fact-- down [NYP], maybe it should consider lowering the cost to subscribe. I would totally buy that shit if it weren't around $50 a year (what? I'm cheap). After all, it is drivel. Just sayin'.

BTW that's what Elle did. You can get a two-year subscription for 16 dollaz. I snatched that up in a heartbeat. Still waiting for it to arrive...

Apparently all is NOT well on the new iPhone 3G front. I think we all suspected there'd be some chaos.

Just one more reason why I'm keeping my "old" one...for now. (Oh who am I kidding, my ass can't afford another one.) But check this baby out in black.Did you buy the new iPhone? And do you care to talk about it? Let me know.

Today Around the Blogosphere...

Let me reiterate, I love newly launched Cityfile, a blog on the who's who of prominent New Yorkers. If for nothing else than for its Wikipedia-esque profiles on NYC scenesters; replete with photo galleries.

Where else are you going to find info. on headband-loving, socialite Arden Wohl; with an accompanying photo that says:

"These are the people who pay for Arden's headbands?"

It's revolting, yet satisfying.

Update: Well go figure. Wohl was arrested on Saturday for defacing a Ralph Lauren (born Ralph Lipschitz) storefront in East Hampton. How like a gang member of her. Apparently she marked her territory by scrawling "Ralphy Lip-shit" in lipstick. [NYP]

I think this means her street cred just went up.

It looks as though actress Tatum O'Neal, 44, will avoid jail time despite her little (alleged) attempted crack-buying incident in NYC last month. She pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct on Wednesday; and will have to spend two half-day sessions in a drug treatment program; plus pay a $95 fee. The case will be tossed out completely (on Sept. 4) if she complies with those terms. O'Neal is understandably relieved. [People]

Did somebody say "Ugh?" Oh that was me. Brody Jenner (The Hills) is getting his own show on MTV called-- wait for it-- Bromance [Insert Nelson Muntz laugh here]. According to People, the show has been picked up for six episodes and will entail "guy contestants competing in various group and individual activities that will test their trust, reliability, and compatibility with Jenner, 24, in hopes of joining his entourage."

In other words, the series will be the male version of Paris Hilton's stupid upcoming MTV show, tentatively titled Paris Hilton's My New BFF. [People] Spiffy.

Today Around the Blogosphere (Updated)...

Laurie's son Josh Waring, 19, from The Real Desperate Housewives of Orange County, was allegedly caught trying to sell ecstasy and heroin outside of a Comfort Inn motel in Laguna Beach, Calif. on Sunday night!!!!

Why'd you have to go and get a new, better, richer family Laurie? And why'd you make Josh go live with his grandma? Kinda kidding.

I got hooked on The Real Housewives after watching a marathon while on a flight to New York. It's terribly addictive. Good ol' Josh knows what that feels like.

He's facing two felony counts of possession and intent to sell both heroin and ecstasy, a misdemeanor count of unauthorized possession of a hypodermic needle and being under the influence of heroin -- also a misdemeanor, i.e. if convicted, he's doing some hard time in jail. [TMZ]

While I'm on the subject, I'm tired of media outlets using the terms "jail" and "prison" interchangeably. Prison is worse peeps.

Waring's still young enough to get his shit together. Let's hope he does.

Boo hoo. Hulk Hogan's son Nick Bollea, 17, wants out of solitary confinement. The teen was sentenced to eight months in a Florida jail a few weeks ago for felony reckless driving.

Bollea
reportedly spends 16-to-17 hours a day by himself; and receives his meals through a slot in the door, which his attorney says "substantially amounts to cruel and unusual punishment for a juvenile and is not warranted for a non-violent first offender serving a probation sentence." Sorry Bollea there's nothing cruel or unusual about it. That's jail! Go figure.

What is cruel is the way you've been talking about your "friend" who you left in a vegetative state, and almost killed. My stomach felt weird when I read that shit. What's wrong with these people?!

His attorneys are now seeking a transfer to monitored home confinement or the minimum-security area.

"A multimillion-dollar Long Island home at the center of a dispute between Grammy-nominated rapper 50 Cent and his former girlfriend was destroyed by a suspicious fire early Friday."

The case has been referred to the arson squad "because of the intensity of the fire." [AP]

Cent, 32, reportedly promised the said former girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, the $2.4 million house 10 years ago. But now, because they have broken-up, he allegedly wants to evict her and their 10-year-old son

Cent was not in the house at the time of the fire. But his son and Tomkins were, along with four other people. All went to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

For more details check out this AP article.

Update: Tomkins is claiming the fire was an attempted murder attempt committed by Fiddy. She's says "He's obsessed. If he can't have me no one can." [TMZ]

But 50 Cent's lawyer Brett Kimmel released the following statement: "Any suggestion that Mr. Jackson [Fiddy's real last name] had anything whatsoever to do with the fire at his home is outrageous and offensive." [TMZ]

Actor Bill Murray's wife, of 10 years, is suing him for divorce and requesting a restraining order.

Ouch!

Famed Sex and the City stylist, Patricia Field, has designed a line of shoes for Payless. Eww. Her first collection for the discount shoe chain actually came out last winter (I'm glad we all noticed).
