Today Around the Blogosphere...

Gary Coleman was charged with reckless driving on Tuesday after he hit a car and kinda ran someone over a little bit.

But Coleman, 40, doesn't think he did anything wrong because the dude wasn't totally asking for it. Coleman's lawyer Randy Kester says "He brought it on himself." [People]

Pat O'Brien is leaving The Insider. And while no official reason was given for his departure, it sounds like he may have been fired.

"Pat O'Brien is a talented broadcaster who has been a part of The Insider family from the very beginning," says a spokesperson for the show. "Although we have decided to part ways, everyone at CBS Television Distribution and The Insider greatly appreciate and respect all his contributions to our show. We wish Pat much success in his future endeavors." [People]

At least now O'Brien, 60, will have more time to use up his rollover minutes.

Update: Apparently O'Brien sent out an email earlier this week in which he hated on Access Hollywood co-host Lara Spencer, who got his job after he was demoted for his coke issues; and went to rehab.

He supposedly wrote: "I was approached a hundred times by people asking, 'Can you help us?' I tried to tell them we care, but they didn't buy it. They wanted to, but watching Anya and Lara [Spencer] pick out accessories makes the viewers want to vomit."

In the email, according to Page Six, O'Brien also wrote that Joe Biden told him "You should be running for president." WTF?!
