Today Around the Blogosphere...

Gwyneth Paltrow is in some random "Democrats Abroad" montage, which urges U.S. expatriates to vote. I think she's the only person who had hair and makeup. And for that matter, the only one who had a close-up. Still, it's good she's staying in London.

Christina Applegate, 36, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

According to a statement, issued by Applegate's spokesperson, she "was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening." [People]

[I guess this means Anderson probably doesn't appreciate
this rejected publicity still for Pam:Girl on the Loose.]

Pamela Anderson, 41, is reportedly worried about looking like a haggard wench on camera. She is currently starring in an E! reality show-- Pam: Girl on the Loose. And a source told Britain's the Daily Express "Producers have been informed that she has to appear in flattering lighting--and close-ups on her face are apparently a no-no." [Daily Express via Hollywood Rag]

I don't know, on Sunday night's episode, the cameras were kinda in her face, as she was splashing around naked in the bath. Still, it could be true. And to be fair, it isn't really an entirely unreasonable demand.

And message to E!, quit it with the colons in the names of your shows. They're annoying to type.

I know. The good news is she's going to be okay.
