Today Around the Blogosphere (Updated)...

From calm to irate in 17 seconds. An old video clip from Bill O'Reilly's days on Inside Edition resurfaces; reaffirms just how batshit-crazy he is.

Who knew the phrase 'to play us out' was so infuriating? Maybe O'Reilly just really hates Sting. We can't all be blessed with the ability to have tantric sex. I too find that frustrating and unfair.[College Humor]

Then I picture Trudie Styler, aka Mrs. Sting; and feel better.

I kid.

Well, it's tentatively official. US Weekly, has confirmed my previous report (which I stole from someone else) that Ashlee Simpson, 23, and Pete Wentz, 28, will wed next Saturday. The source says the location is "top secret;" and guests will be transported there via shuttle. " [US]

Don't cha' just love covert operations weddings?

Jimmy Fallon will replace Conan O'Brien as the host of NBC's Late Night. Fallon, 33, will likely begin in June 2009 when O'Brien replaces Jay Leno on The Tonight Show. No real thoughts, except Fallon's hosting has to be better than his role in Taxi. Granted I didn't see the movie. But it looks really bad, right? [US]

"Audrina Patridge is following in the big screen footsteps of Jessica Alba." Cause we all know Alba makes great movies. The Hills star, 22, will appear in Into the Blue 2, the follow-up to Alba's 2005 beach flick. "Patridge plays a no-nonsense, beautiful beach babe whose boyfriend caters to her every command, according to the Hollywood Reporter." [US]

I'm so glad I didn't write that last sentence.

Actor Isaiah Washington filed a complaint with the Screen Actors Guild over ABC's use of his picture in an episode of Grey's Anatomy.

The mug of Washington's Dr. Preston Burke was featured in a "newspaper article" about the character receiving a prestigious surgeon's award in an episode that first aired May 9.

But Washington, who left the show in 2007 amid controversy over his allegedly referring to castmate T.R. Knight with a homophobic slur, claims the producers failed to get consent for the use of the picture. [Reuters via Oh No They Didn't]

I guess this means Dr. Burke won't be coming back. Damn it. I know I can't handle Sandra Oh singing any more Madonna songs while she harvests the hearts of cadavers.
