Today Around the Blogosphere...

First daughter Jenna Bush, 26, and Henry Chase Hager, 30, wed in Crawford, Texas on Saturday in front of about 200 guests. Bush wore an "embroidered organza Oscar de la Renta gown," required photo approval and shut out the shutterbugs. However, the White House did release 11 photos of the affair, which took place at Bush's Prairie Chapel Ranch. [AP, People]

Some peeps be irked the nuptials didn't take place at the Bush's lesser known abode, located somewhere in the DC area. I think its address is 1600 Pennsylvania Aven something or other. [NPR]

For some unapparent reason, writing about this reminded me of Jenna B's funny appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in December 2007.

Wow! Apparently, Heather Mills, 40, promised £10,000 to a woman, Maria Rybkina, 28, who lost her legs in a train accident; then failed to follow through. "I will help buy you legs like mine,"Mills reportedly said. "I will help you walk again." But News of the World reports, "once she had basked in the glow of the photo opportunity, she IGNORED pleas about the increasingly pitiful plight of Maria—who was being forced to BEG on the streets of Moscow." [News of the World via Oh No They Didn't]

So does this mean all the rumors about Mills, being a bitch, are true?

"Actor Dennis Farina, a former policeman who built a Hollywood career playing detectives, was arrested on Sunday at Los Angeles International Airport for carrying a loaded gun on his way to board a plane, police said.

"Farina, 64, told police he brought the .22 caliber, semi-automatic pistol with him on a drive from Arizona to Los Angeles and forgot it was in his briefcase when he tried to pass through airport security, police said in a statement.

"He was initially booked on one misdemeanor count of carrying a loaded firearm and bail was set at $25,000. The charge was upgraded later to a felony after police confirmed the gun was not registered, and bail was raised to $35,000." [Reuters]

Wait, you have to register those things?!

Before my most recent flight to NYC, I was this close to packing my M2 as a carry-on. I'm glad I dodged that bullet. (Sorry)
