Today Around the Blogosphere...

Britney Spears's dad, and conservator, Jamie Spears, is planning to sell Brit Brit's Studio City, Calif. home.

It's not clear where she intends to move. But a source close to Spears, 26, said, "Having more privacy and wide open spaces for her to raise her boys has been a goal for some time." [People]

Uh, I thought Jamie was supposed to keep Spears off of drugs and stuff, not sell her shit.

In March, a court also granted Jamie the power to "sell or dispose of" an undisclosed number of her seven cars. He remains in legal control of his daughter's affairs until a July 31 hearing.

Who knows, maybe this selling the house business is a good thing.

Gossip Girl leads the pack for this year's Teen Choice Awards with a whopping 14 nominations. [People]

Um. cool?

Jessica Alba, 27, was among a bunch of other celebrities who introduced, and described, the American Film Institute's (AFI) choices for top 10 movies (in 10 genres) of all time. Her segment will air as a part of a CBS special tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Don't ask me why they asked for her input.

The Eye, Awake and Good Luck Chuck obviously didn't make the cut.

Alba will be one of the hosts for the romantic comedy genre. [People] Maybe she'll also learn something.

Visit People for a sneak peek of the show.
