Would You Steal This Ride?
According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), the 1995 Honda Civic was the most stolen car in the U.S. in 2007. This year's its second consecutive win.
Other irresistible runner-ups include:
1. '91 Honda Accord (clearly a sweet ride)
2. '89 Toyota Camry (so desirable)
3. '97 Ford F-150 (cause you've gotta have a whip with a bed...even if you have to take it from someone else)
The good news is the overall vehicle theft rate dropped by 8.9% [Yahoo!]. That's right Americans, you just got the go-ahead to leave the keys in your unlocked car. Honda drivers, sorry, that doesn't include you. But that's what you get for driving around in an enviable POS.
Better silver lining, yo ass is gonna save a whole lotta money on gas if someone jacks your car.
Also, there should be a new rule. If your vehicle is equipped with one of those annoying alarms that makes a sequence of strange noises, and goes off at the touch of a feather, your car should automatically be stolen.
