Today Around the Blogosphere...

Actually if you have to make a choice, read the Housewives story.
NY Mag has a short, cute feature on Juno's Olivia Thirlby, 21. Apparently Hollywood keeps passing her the blunt or something.

News to Me: She was cast, then replaced, as Seth Rogen's girlfriend, in the new Apatow flick--Pineapple Express.

Sucks for her! Good thing she was only "minorly, minorly ticked off."

Anyway, check it out! She's candid and funny. And it's short for all you folks who have issues with reading.

But while you're at it, peep this story on the horrible, horse-haired, wench--Alex McCord–Van Kempen-- from The Real Housewives of New York City. Her gay husband--Simon-- gets a shout-out too.

There's mention of how a neighbor recently took to live-blogging about the couple and their imp children (hell yeah); and how they spent "more than five figures but under six (huh?)" while on holiday in St. Barts during the "low season" (broke asses). [NY Mag]

Also, they're totally unaware of how much they suck.

P.S. An added bonus for Jezebel-ians, Amy Larocca, the author, uses the word "uxoriousness."

Kristy Lee Cook, 24, (the sixth runner-up on American Idol last season) inked a deal with 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville, under the same label as Carrie Underwood. [People]

Her first single, "15 Minutes of Shame," (um, ok) is slated for an August 11 release.

All this talk about how Mary-Kate Olsen, 22, and Ben Kingsley, 64, were sooo comfortable when they had to make-out (and dry-hump) in their new movie--The Wackness-- is starting to creep me out.

"He was so professional about it and made me feel so comfortable," Olsen revealed. "He said, 'Anything you don't feel comfortable about, let me know. You lead me.' "

Eww!
